    Confirm almost undectable.
It was quite hard to get good pics of inside the clear outer lenses because of reflections (and rushing). But it is impressive inside, the black paint is flawless. Surrounding attachment of lense and housing is immaculate. The DOT stamp on the outside is slightly different. The lights blub twist-lock sockets are slightly different (but not in quality), and OEM used more wire wrap to hold all the wires together. When I get back in to do my cap wiring (after I get the cap painted, whenever the fuck that might be), I'll add wire wrapping before I button it all up again, because I was a bit concerned about pinching wires on install and had to be very careful. Plus there are plenty of sharp edges in that area.

I have some pics of these details I'll try to post sometime this week.

Depo shipping boxes...well they are bombproof, and the ebay vendor I received them from boxed the existing Depo mfg. box, too.

EDIT: and yeah, that fucking bumper

But really, when you have a few moments between your mini-expeditions to keep the gene pool shallow, you should do a nice little thread on sensible and not "gee-whiz, if I have more lights, maybe I'll get more laid" lighting options.

You could just work on it a bit at a time, next to the fire, with your St. Bernard at your feet.

    Cool reverse lights.

So, if i get a 52" curved lightbar mounted on the roof, 50W HIDs in my stock headlights, and a 32" lightbar out the back, do i get laid or probed? How will I know the difference?

Well, not sure. I think it could be laid, because I figure they'll see Monte first from space and he'll get probed.

When the pressing issue of "will crawl control work with 22-inch rims?" came up.

Thank you, Jamz. You're a gentleman and a skoler.

In other thoughts, I've been thinking...

I've thought, in the course of those thoughts, that I'll do the somewhat cliche but nonetheless classic FJ Cruiser grill badge on the Homisoshoshiroshi, which is currently in transit from Pencilvienna.

They come with white letters. I thought I'd color match to silver sky...or...kinda more subtle against black, MGM? What do you guys think?

Also, I've seen some pretty cool old school Toyota decals for SR 5 and V6 that come in gray. I thought I might debadge and then stick these at the far right side under the tailgate crease.

So the overall look would be sparse muted badges consistent with OEM branding that do not protrude from the surface, which will also increase my mileage.

Jury is out on the big tailgate logo. I think I only want the little ones.

Black grill mesh looks super clean. I would either do black FJ lettering or do a body color paint match.

    White ain't right.

@Bentrodder can toss a pic of his front end in here.

Not running that emblem, but devil horns. It looks really nice in y'alls paint color when the grill surround is matches. Very clean aesthetic.

Agreed on no white, but I think black would be a bit of a waste of buying the badge in the first place, and the letters would blend into the black backing bar.

So Silver Sky, or what about MGM? Halfway between Silver Sky and black.

You should go with chrome letters then it will match your truck colour
