    ANOTHER P0420 CODE :angrygirl:

I am pretty sure Toyota sent ninjas throughout the last couple of months and stuck their little swords right in the 02 Sensors and the Cat Converters. Just to piss everyone off.

Sorry OP, I hope you get everything sorted out. I'm just pissed because everyone and their dog is having this problem lately.

The original downstream o2 sensors on the 2003 Tacomas have a heat shield that blocks access to the bolts on the sensors. Is there an easy way to remove the heat shield or remove the bolts without removing the heat shield? The task would be so simple if Toyota didn't have that heat shield connected to the sensor.

Thank you sir. I was not referring to the P0420 code, but the P0138 code. Should I test the electrical connections on the sensor before I replace it?

Socket extension is what i used. I was ready to cut it off with a grinder. FYI mine is throwing the code now as well and it turns out i have a bad exhaust leak right at that flange behind the cat. Check that as well.
