What if the keurig takes a dump and dies? can it be replaced economically? Seems I have to buy a new Keurig every 2-3 years.

I'm sure parts are replaceable. I just dont like the idea of all the computer/electronic stuff. Realistically, its gonna break down. I suppose if you have one of those home warrenty things that cover appliences, it would be good.
"Home Shield" I think. I had the oppurtunity to get one when I bought this house and they still keep sending me stuff.

 

I have American Home Shield and it's paid for itself with just my air handler going out. Only shitty thing is that they cover $10/pound of refrigerant and R-22 is like $100/pound.

 

I'll be looking for my next mod soon. Need to get these chromoly axles in still. Probably due oba or something that I can use for more self sufficiency during camping.

Yes $75 per service call. Doesn't matter if they tighten a screw or replace a whole unit.

They'll always try to fix first but I've had refrigerators, HVAC, a washing machine, microwave, and range replaced through AHS. Not all on the same house...

 

I think it's like $50 per month to cover all the homes systems. Electrical, plumbing, appliances, etc.

that's my house... my roommate uses it a few times a day and I find grinds literally from the machine, across the floor, then all over the rim of the sink. I think it actually takes more effort to make that much mess haha. needless to say, im the mom of the house. cant wait till I can afford to live alone again

 

I ditched my keurig for a $20.00 french press from starbucks-- never going back.

 

I only use my french press on weekends, otherwise I use my conventional drip because I can set it to automatically start in the am. French press is the best invention ever!

The tank ain't gonna matter if the compressor can't keep up with the tools. Run the ARB constant duty compressor too.
