    I want to make skid plates for my truck to but I'm stuck on weather to make them out of aluminum or steel. Snow sticks bad to aluminum so that could be an issue

    If you can weld aluminum do it. Super light and strong.

    I'm down, as long as it's after 230. Not sure what the old mans plan is but he did express interest.

    Edit* I can make either location. I live in Halifax but Windmill isn't too far of a drive for me.

    I probably wouldn't make skid plates out of aluminum. It's soft and would get dinged up pretty easy. Plus it'll corrode bolts mounting bolts. Dissimilar metals + salt=bad time.
