No spacer, little background I purchased the coilovers from a friend who wanted to upgrade and these were only one year old... I took them in to toytec to check out and they adjusted to what Tacoma should be for 2.5" lift for passenger and driver... I did the install myself.

On Sunday Jake installed sliders on my truck and was gracious enough to help adjust the coilovers too, we made 2 full revolutions on both sides put the tires back on and drove around for a bit, remeasured and surprisingly I'm still at 24" , really bizarre should've been some movement one way or another.

Question I have is... Is it possible something is holding/ pulling the shock in the extended position?
Is it possible the shock is installed in the coil incorrectly ?
I'm at a loss, any advise is greatly appreciated.

Better to ask what I have not done.
It didn't settle any!?! We can lower it some more. I didn't want to lower it to much because tightening it is always more fun then loosening it. And we already bent mine trying to loosen them. I would try a couple more revolutions. I raise mine 1-1.5 with 3 rotations just fine.

Nope, no settling. I think there might be something other than the coilovers wrong ( no idea what)... Shouldn't there have been some movement ?

On another note, I like the sliders a lot. Great job man!

There should have been something. You might do a test and flex out on something and see if they compress if not then there is your problem (there is your excuse to drive up a snow bank) I would think the would because you said that they drive fine. We can just crank them down a lot and see.

And I'm glad you like them. You will have to post some pictures of them up on my build page for me if you don't mind.

A small handful of select mods.
It is strange that you are not seeing it go down at all. I would contact Dylan at ToyTec. They have great customer service and should be able to assist you with this. @steezemcqueen - Dylan start with his posts on the top of this page.

I'll probably go with the M8000. I don't want to have to cut this bumper to fit anything bigger and my winch useage forecast isn't that high.

Damn, I drool over this bumper every time I see it! Unfortunately, I pulled the trigger last winter on a Brute Force bumper instead. Decided it fit my needs better for the time being since I wouldn't be running a winch for awhile and I wanted full hoops. It still doesn't keep me from admiring them though!!!

I used them all and ultimately went back to Century Link. Comcast likes to shut down the internet during the day at random times for "required maintenance" and their reasoning is that their customers are at work. But when you work from home this becomes a serious issue when it happens weekly.
They all can suck my balls to be honest.

Longmont is psyched they had the infrastructure in place to crate their own internet through the city as a municipality.

    1 gbps for $49.95.

Comcast is brutal in my neighborhood. There'd be at least 8 homes feeding off the same broadband during peak hours.

Century Link is what I have been using now for 4 years, and *knock on wood*, I have never had a single issue with them except for one outage that lasted a few hours.

to many to list, check the build thread
I wanna say when i installed my BOSS coil overs i cranked them up to high and was at 24 from center of hub to bottom of fender and i was maxing out the shock, no more gain when cranking them up more and the truck rode stiff, adjusted them back down to 23 from center of hub to bottom of fender and it rides like a dream ever since. Could this be at play with your setup? If you have the set that comes adjusted from toytec(bilstein 5100's and Eibach coil overs) they come set up at .85 usually, if you compressed the spring and cranked them up you could be maxing out the shock and won't get anymore lift out of it.

I agree with gramps, contact dylan at toytec, he will have all the answers for ya

LOOKING FOR ECGS BEARING HELP IN COLORADO.

Hey all. I will be looking to do the ECGS bushing swap sometime in the next couple of months. Is there anyone here that has the tool and the know how to do the job? I would gladly provide beers for anyone with a higher mechanical aptitude and ability than I who is willing to help me do this.

I can't argue that, CL does have better uptime.

Unfortunately I have 3 roommates so CenturyLinks max package of 14 Mbit (at least in my neighborhood) is a joke

I used to work for CenturyLink (2000-2014) so I had their internet service thanks to employee discounts. I was LUCKY to get 10 mbps DSL on a GOOD day. After I left the company, I switched to Comcast/Xfinity. I am now pulling 180 mbps download speeds over wi-fi on a consistent basis. SO glad I switched.
