If you have a pics of a 2016 Tacoma with a 4" lift and 35" tires, please post.
The amount of ground clearance is functional for what I'll be using the truck for, just wanted to make sure it didn't look too extreme, not my style

    TIA

MPG is not related to price.

Here is a 2016 on 35s, but it's on a 6.5" lift and looks like with 2 less inches of lift you'd be doing a lot of trimming.

A car that gets 50mpg will get 50mpg regardless if the price of gas is $2/gallon or $5/gallon. Crazy.

There are 2 advantages to better mpg, cost and frequency of fill ups, neither one is applicable to my situation... Thanks for all your helpful advice though

It's a deep hole but don't give up. You can make him see the light.

    My thoughts...
BDS has grown and so at this point, in order to compete in the drop bracket market, they likely have China take care of most of the manufacturing. If this is in fact the case, BDS is just one brand out of many to choose from offering pretty much the same crap (low grade steel and booger welds).

I don't claim to be an expert in truck suspensions, just need more ground clearance to drive through and over creek beds while hunting.... Do you have a suggestion on a different type of lift to achieve this?

Not really. Back in the day I'd do an RCD DB lift over others. Not a big fan of ProComp or Fabtech. Just not into these types of kits anymore and do most of my own fabrication these days. I'm more into performance suspension and not lifts.

I'd recommend searching threads that are specific to DB type lifts.

There are a lot of DB lift haters on here, but if all you want is to get the truck up to clear big tires all while maintaining a quality ride (not handling) they get the job done.

    Best of luck

I appreciate your advice, I have thought of sticking with 33" tires and using torsion keys for the lift, between the two which would you use?
