Just did this today, fairly easy. Maybe took an hour just because it was difficult working in such a tight space trying to mount the hardware and such.

Is your grill bezel painted or plasti dipped? or is it the oem part? Looks great. Emblem plasti dipped too?

Originally chrome. I painted the bezel and emblem black which turned out to be a mistake. I sanded, spray several coats of adhesion primer with several coats of black and it's chipping like crazy. Not sure what I did wrong, but I messed up somewhere along the line and plan for it to be temporary once the BAMF grill is released. In the meantime, I'm going to take it apart this weekend and plasti dip it black like I did with the Tacoma emblems. Seems to be much thicker and stronger for chrome plastic pieces.

Nice, let me know how it turns out.
I have a SR5 grill on the way to swap out my chrome sport grill.

I bought it off Amazon for $60 shipped. The out put is really good. I'll try to get a picture tonight to show how much light it puts out

Gunmetal metallic Tacoma side badges, debadged tailgate, blacked out chrome grill surround, customcargrills.com grill with Toyota badge color matched to other badges, color matched rear bumper covers, Black headlight mod, 30" light bar stealth mounted in front bumper, Bilstein 5100's all around, OME 887's, Icon uniballs UCA's, Wheelers AAL, Spidertrax 1.25" spacers, 17" Gunmetal SCS SR8 wheels, Cooper STT Pro 285/70/17 Tires
Paint it and clear plastidip over it. Did that with mine before I changed grills. Worked great
