    As posted in my other daily thread... Job news.

    I got a call about the job I wanted, I was the top choice against someone who already worked along side that department. So the dept manager picked her over me, because experience, but only like a couple months, she was still new. HR manager requested I interview to replace the girl that got the job I wanted. It may or may not involve titles which is frustrating because DMV, ew. But its more monies, and I like monies. Im also getting first dibs without the job being listed internally, IF I am interested. She also mentioned I'm still in the running for the other position I interviewed for, which is meh. But I may also be getting promoted soon if I stay where I am. All three jobs on the table are still more money and just happen to be all the same paygrade. I guess it comes down to what exactly this unlisted job entails. Fingers crossed the money is right and I get to move to an area where I'm closer to friends I adore*. A change of scenery is what I need. :)

    *friends just had a baby recently and I love their other three kids. Aunt Daria wants to babysit. :p

    Job is in downtown Greenville. I found an apartment complex I like in Taylors. I'm open to a few different areas but Im not finding anything reasonable priced and in a location I like.

    This is where I turned into a gushy female... My friend from Spartanburg sent me this message and my heart melted. I am friends with her and the husband and I've grown attached to their kids over the past couple years. I haven't met the baby yet but she looks just like their second youngest who I absolutely love. Babies are so stinkin cute. I just don't need any of my own. I'll be Aunt Daria to all the chittlins.

    Yeah they do...very well known for their wrestling program. Bunch of hay bale tossing farmboys and cattle ranchers in the Central Valley. My brother lives in Poway and has been in that area for about the last 30+ years. All his boys have gone and are going to Poway High. He used to live off Carmel Mtn. Road up the hill past the Double Tree. I forget where in Poway he lives now because he's moved a couple times with the most recent being after that fire that swept through the North County.

    Nice! I wrestled for Poway. I am certian your brother is well aware of the wrestling program there! Wife went to RBHS- ironically, she has reconnected with 4 other friends from RBHS that live in here in TC, CLT and Concord, NC. Small world. Love visiting SoCal; going to desert, etc. Hope to never leave South Carolina. :thumbsup:
