front camera for "over the hill" approaches, yes I'm lazy and don't wanna get out. However you could probably mod that pretty easy.
Chrome grill has to go, frame chrome ..ok, toyota symbol chrome....ok, the rest gunmetal grey or mat black.
Electric lock tailgate or just simply make the fob key open everything. Or both.
Remote start, it would be nice to warm up the truck as I brush my teeth.
Leather option for the TRD models, this might already be in place, too lazy to look.
Rear locker, 2WD mode as well.
Option for rock sliders (real ones)
    LED interior and fog lamps.
from above, sd card slot for music, remove the "aux plug" and include another usb power port.
    Android/Apple Auto
Option for TV/Satellite/DVD/ripped dvd(mpeg etc) for entune or pick another manufacturer.
Remote location of rear diff breather.
    Optional Bilstien/OME lift, 2-3"

    can't think of any more.

    Like most people

Replace AUX for additional USB port
Push to Start for the manual
Apple / Android (I have a pretty good feeling this will be in the 2017 model)
JBL option for the TRDOR manual

Move the 4x4 knob away from the climate control. I almost switched it to 4H instead of turning off the heater a few times.

    None needed.
I don't get this grill fetish; It's really not that big. The 2015 and older models have big bulbous headlights for that matter.
A power rear window like Tundra has would be great.
    Inside Gas cover release.
Fold flat rear seats without the need to remove the headrests.
    Mud flaps as standard equipment
    Integrated garage door opener

Here is my quick list.. keep in mind my previous car is a BMW X5
    1. Auto-up / down windows all around
    2. Powered folding mirrors
    3. Auto-Halt option (holds the brake while at a stop light, release when you touch the throttle)
    4. Auto-roll up windows while holding the door lock button on the key fob
    5. Auto-roll down windows while holding the door unlock button on the key fob
    6. Door handle lock/unlock sensors on all doors and tailgate
    7. Throttle pedal (full power / passing) button. Yes, you can have a button on the pedal.
    8. gear selector that holds a gear and does not downshift automatically unless you hit the pedal button
    9. front parking sonar
    10. Side mirror mounted curb cameras. Handy for parking in tight spaces or protecting your wheels form curbs.
    11. larger, secure and water tight bed compartment boxes
    12. Steering driven trajectory assist lines in the rear backup camera monitor
    13. More interior power outlets / usb charging ports
    14. Eco / normal / Sport driving modes
    15. Manual override for parking sonar and backup camera's. I would like to turn the camera on without having to put the trans in reverse.
    16. 2-stage cruise control lever that let you increase / decrease speeds in increments of 1mph & 5mph
    17. An indicator in the dash that tells you what speed your cruise control is set to
    18. powered rear window
    19. Powered Gas door lock

If they get all that in there, my next list would look like:
    1. heated steering wheel
    2. heated / air conditioned front and rear seats
    3. massaging seats
    4. fully adjustable powered seats and headrests
    5. Air conditioning in the glove box and center console storage box
    6. dual rear climate control
    7. home link
    8. S.O.S. button
    9. Heated windshield washer fluid
    10. HID auto-adjusting headlights
    11. Headlight washers
    12. Special backup camera view for towing trailers (yes that does exist too)
Of course all this added weight calls for more powerful motor. The X5 has a Turbocharged 3.5 Litre in-line 6 motor that way outperforms the Tacoma motor in power and efficiency. Why can't Toyota step up their engine game?

    Heated Steering Wheel

    Power Seats

    Power Rear Window

    Remote Start

Having said that, I have a Limited, and love it, but these additions would be nice.

    1. Not allow pussies to purchase the Tacoma
    2. Everyone with a long list in this thread is a pussy and should have their truck taken away. "Oh I'm a pussy because I want features other cars come standard with"
    3. Yes you are, this isn't a luxury sedan

Owning a beaver is illegal in 49 states... Nevada, but it's likely to be one night, what the beaver gives you... you'll own forever

I would never get a limited, but for those who of would how about power heated seats after all limited implies luxury. You can get all these options on the competing equivalent trucks.

Which is why I would not waste my money on a limited, but for those who would that is obviously what they are looking for in leather seats.

agreed, but some of the things on my list wouldn't exactly fit the 'luxury' category. My list is more or less the things I'm trading in. Probably more suited for the Limited version. Regardless, I'm very happy with my DCLBOR, and the PremTech package makes it a good compromise over the luxuries i'm used to.
