I'm definitely in on this. I may look around the greater LA area for quotes as well. If anyone has a template or file please PM me- so I don't have to show up with my cardboard drawing to the cutter. I honestly wouldn't know where to start, but if we don't ask, we'll never know...

There's a blizzard happening here right now, so that'll make the cardboard soggy.

Probably the group buy thread. How would you do it if upwards of three people are working on the design lol lowest bidder or first to come out with a product? I'm not sure if the vender on the east coast would just go a head and do it without at least getting in contact with the OP. He runs his business nice and gentlemen like even wants to offer the OP a deal instead of taking the idea for free.

 

I don't think raising interest will be an issue. I'll peruse through the threads and see which would be the best. I'll also send out a group message to collaborate some ideas and resources.

 

I'm in for a full-size and will be watching for the new thread in the AM.

What the heck is going on with the OP? He just go ghost? Or some issues came up or what?

 

I do know he had some health issue with his wife. Hopefully he got it sorted out but he did drop way off the grid.

 

I think the people that have been most active on getting this product back (@taczilla @docloco ) have been looking for options. I remember someone asking OP about paying him for his design, but IIRC, nothing materialized. Again, I'm not trying to be a douche to OP and would much rather he came back and started offering these again. I would buy one in a heartbeat if that were the case (as I'm sure many others would as well), but like it was mentioned before, it looks like he abandoned the project all together. I know he had family issues which understandably takes priority over any of this and has not been on the site much. If he's out there @nat , I wish him and his family the best and can only say that with all the interest in reviving his product, I'm sure others do as well.

That's not really that long ago honestly.

 

I mean I get it I understand the supply and demand thing, who was it that he was talking with about reviving it maybe they can give more insight on what happened.
