spindle setup

    1.camburg spindles with brake lines

    2. 2'' aal

    3with stock suspension will this work.

    Its a start :thumbsup: but you may want longer travel shocks with those spindles...4" on your stock shocks may cause unwanted stress

    Spindles are designed to work with OEM length shocks.

    Id recommend getting 5100 since your gonna be tearing into there. Also since your doing spindles and it sounds like you got some decent money, id pass on the 2" aal and get some alcan or dakar leafs for the back. Reasons: reduces axle wrap, much better ride, quality than an aal. Also go with 5100 for the back or possibly a set of 5125 with extended brake lines. Contact downsouth motorsports and they will tell you which would be a better option for the back.

    Ultimately the ideal I think would be a nice set of coilovers, sway away, fox, toytec, icons for the front to match those camburgs :thumbsup:

    A lift spindle isnt a long travle set up. Spindles still retain the use of the OEM upper, and lower CA's.

    Then they make a set of coilover he can run them with. Some reason I don't like camburg c/o and idk know why so don't ask lol :) just prefeence

    Camburgs are basically a Re branded Sway-A-way.

    true, but they are often used in with LT set ups because the stock spindle is relatively weak. Engage also has a spindle for their LT kit

    Yeah. But, a long travel is achieved with different U/LCAs....OP didnt list that as an option. Useing extended travle Co's with a spindle, can lead to blowing out the Upper, and possibly lower, ball joints. Unless you use limiting straps, but then, you have to limit them to a stock length.

    conclusion: yes they will work with stock suspension, yes the 2" aal will work.

    im so damn anxious to get my damn camburg spindles and c/o on already F***

    You should consider longer shocks for the rear with the set up you are wanting, but the front will be fine.

    Yes. You need at least different UCAs that allow for the extra travle of extended travle Cos.

    yes, you keep stating that you need longer shocks (you dont) so chris was telling you what would happen if you used longer shocks on our OEM setup like you kept saying...

    ^ hmmm if extended c/o's can damage uniball joints then why would camburg off their spindle with their mid travel kit without recommending limiting straps?

    I said you might want to consider running extended c/o's, not that he needed. it was just a recommendation. IIRC, most members run mid travel c/o's with their spindles without limiting straps, along with uniball UCAs
