What I wouldn't give for a Tacoma body that could fit an SCX10. I wish Pro-Line could work out a licensing deal with Toyota like they have with Jeep. Or hell, if Axial could pull that off it'd be just as good.

The honcho body is a first gen tacoma. You can buy the sticker kit for it.

You're both right, I guess I was wishing for a slightly more traditional looking body. I'm still considering the Honcho, though, as I haven't picked out a body for my build. Either that, the RAM 1500 (so it'll break down on the trail ;)), or the Jeep Comanche.

Dinky makes bed sides for the Honcho body. It's more of a desert/prerunner type flare than a traditional Tacoma.

Ok, that sells me, very cool! I need to figure out what parts I need to get the Honcho cage and body mounted on my rig since I'm building this thing from pieces. Thank you for those action shots! :)

Edit: nevermind, eBay to the rescue, I'm set. Thanks guys!

So I took a mental health day today and went to play RC instead. Also grabbed a battery relocate tray. It's already noticeably better on steep inclines and off camber situations.bea8344f2c2102d4d962eee05340e4b3_264c8d21305e94ff59ff48ffd27b8952242ef2d7.jpg

Those battery plates are great; one of the best things you can add to a stock scx chassis!

I actually wouldn't velcro electronics. If you want the best there is, try the Parma Servo Tape: http://www.amainhobbies.com/rc-cars-trucks/parma-pse-1x36-pro-servo-tape-roll-par8044/p6183

I've used this stuff for both onroad and offroad racing, as well as bashing, and it NEVER lets go. The nice thing is, when you want to pull off the electronics, it peels off cleanly and is easy to work with. Highly recommended. Just make sure you clean both surfaces with motor spray before applying, and try not to get your finger oils on it either.
