So you really didn't need a truck bed after all.

How often does she adjust her seat? I have not moved my seat from the 1st time I set it.

Not the point at all she has back issues and moves it around and of course after I drive it so yes she needs power seats and any $40000 vehicle should have everything power Got the 4runner a lot cheaper and it has a lot more options as it should have more its not a truck

    Congratulations, I like it!

I never had an issue getting comfortable in my last 2ng gen or any other Toyota truck I've owned/driven but, I do like the extra adjustability the power seat offers on a T4R and others.

Well got to keep the wife happy I do wish the limited Tacoma had the options the 4runner has that would make the price a little more understandable

I would like an in between setting on the upright part of the seat. I feel like automatic would get me in the gray area. But, that being said I love the truck more every day. Not sure how a tacoma was 45000. 40000 I could see. Lots of add on's?

    - doesn't need a pickup TRUCK
    - annoyed the pickup TRUCK doesn't have all the features of a luxury vehicle
    - buys a different vehicle instead of a TRUCK

Sound like that work out! Congrats!

    $45,000 doesn't buy luxury.

Agree. The only thing my T4R came with above the standard base 4x4 Limited trim is remote start. I added the roof cross bars, WeatherTechs & a few small things (that in my mind help me keep it from getting too beat up). So it's sticker wasn't far off the base 4x4 Limited...right around $44,000 and I paid substantially less than sticker so the price difference between it & a Limited Tacoma was pretty small.

I wasn't sold on a SUV (this is my first) but, circumstances at the time had me needing one. But, I can say now I'm very pleased with it and as long as Toyota doesn't screw with the basic package (keep it body on frame) I'll buy another one. If they move it to some modular chassis that crosses with a Highlander and the like I'll be shopping for something different.

    http://www.automobilemag.com/featur...leases-details-on-tnga-new-modular-platforms/

I'm concerned this type of manufacturing & design will find its way into the T4R, LC, Lexus GX & LX in the US market and result in a unibody.

If Toyota goes to a Unibody for the 4Runner or Taco many will be completely turned off.
