I've been trying to make this exact point on another thread about the limited and getting allot of flack about it. Over the years one of the biggest complaints on the Tacoma has been the seats how they need to be higher and the lack of power seats.Toyota don't you think it's time you start listening to your customers

Looks good. Didn't realize you can run 16" on a 5th gen T4R.

    Congrats!
I'm sure they probably deal a little more on 4runners too which had to be nice.

As much as I agree Toyota is having no problem selling Tacomas so they really don't need to add them.

What you are expecting is the luxury features of the 4Runner plus the additional utility of the Tacoma for the same price. Somethings have to be excluded to maintain price point. I respect your opinion but I don't agree with it. I love the color of your 4Runner. :)

That had definitely crossed my mind. Here's the thing the mid size market is definitely a reemerging and growing market and if Toyota wants to stay on top they are going to have to stop offering less options for more money.

    True.

Does the Colorado or frontier have power seats? I have never been in either long enough to even notice.

To your point power seats are available on both. I knew this and still purchased the Tacoma. It not a big deal to me, but for some people it's a real deal breaker given the price .

If the Colorado and Frontier were equal in quality/capability/resale then, I'd say there would be a point of comparing the availability of the powerseat feature at the same price point.

For me it's not that big of a deal I've had 8 tacomas so no power seat didn't bother me at all but on the other side of that coin more ladies would buy the tacoma with better options

45K?? Must've had every option. My 16 OR was the most expensive configuration I could get it and it was 36K out the door. Could've got katzkin leather for an extra 1K and not I'm 100% but I'm sure it's possible to get power seats installed somehow.
