It's a good spot, right below the ski lifts and up behind Summerhaven. I live right at the base of the mtn and this is one of my favorite little spots. Usually a good place to spot turkey in the fall and deer in the spring/summer.

 

when I was at UofA me and my roommates used to go up all the time. countless hours spent ditching class to throw a line at Rose Canyon Lake, I have 2 iphones at the bottom of it right under the dock hahaha

Boxed, stock length lowers, would be super easy to make. I already have all those measurements. The problem is that that retains the stock LBJ which is an awful design. Nearly all 1st gen long travel kits retain that Toyota LBJ. So I'm trying to eliminate ball joints.

That is awesome. Sounds like a great project. What are you planning on with the tie rod ends?

 

This is the piece you need right here. Problem is Solo has had a fabbed spindle with option for lower uniball for a long time but one guy that had it made his get bump steer. If the angles change at all then everything gets thrown off

We aren't sure yet. We can add that on later fairly easily.

Our's (David and I) won't be like that at all. We are in the super early stages of prototyping. I'm sure there will be plenty of prototypes built and run hard to test for binding and bump steer.

 

If it fits a factory spindle and LCA then I will be interested, hopefully works out!

 

The factory LCA is being drilled out only to prototype off of. We'll be building lower control arms around our uniball just because that will be the strongest. The factory spindle (with gussets) will be used though. At least for a while haha

I believe so. He had to swap head gaskets a while back, but he still has yet to install his second transfer case
