HA hot damn I just saw you are from CO as well, ill say this with that info I haven't had any issues going places with them between WY and AZ. with the highway stuff if you drive 1-25 to castle rock and back that stretch can be bumpy to say the least in some vehicles, these toyos are pretty good all things considered for a 10 ply

If you can handle the MPG drop, its hard to beat the coopers. Mine are quiet onroad, awesome traction in the dirt/mud, and the best AT tire I've ever driven in the snow.

No more so than the Toyo.

This is true but the Toyo is a far superior tire to the AT3. The AT3 is a mediocre tire IMO.

Love the R/Ts so far, this year the snow fall has been pitiful however the little bit they have seen they have done very well on, I think the aggressive lines really help them bite and not slip, also they have been buried in mud and have done great, they are still fairly new so road noise could come up later down the road but as of now they are 100% silent on the road

I've been wrenching on cars for over 15 years, and I can tell you that I'd put a Cooper product on my vehicle lightyears before I'd even consider Toyo. I'd like to hear why you think the AT3 is inferior to the Toyo.

Wear, traction, mileage. I am a tire salesman and I would put Toyos on my truck lightyears before Cooper. Just like some people like Ford over Chevy or vise versa. Its all opinion. I know what I have sold and I know what my customers like. The Toyo is a better tire IMO. I am in rural WI so 80% of the tires I sell are truck tires.

I run the Toyo ATII three seasons of the year and they have been great as an all around AT tire. They perform well both on and off road. They clear water really well and provide a great ride on pavement with little noise and rolling resistance. They are a tire that will always be near the top of my list. They were undoubtedly a great improvement over the BFG ATKO that I had on the truck before them. I found the BFG were good off road, but treacherous in slippery conditions on pavement. Even offroad, my Toyo's have performed equally as well as the BFG's did for my needs. My off-roading consists of dirt and gravel trails as well as de-commissioned logging roads. I am not a recreational rock crawler.

I have always liked the Cooper ST Maxx, to me the tread design, by appearance is bang-on for my needs. Like the Toyos in question, they both have awesome circumfrencial grooving that will clear water fast to prevent hydroplaning when on pavement. The Maxx also have that killer Cooper LT tread which is always up around 18 mark. If the 255 80r17 Maxx's were offered in a C-Load Range I would be all over these things. Truth is, even at a heavy E-Load rating I am still considering them despite that fact that I have had a bad experience with E-Load tires on a Tacoma(they are just way to stiff). If I got into the rocks recreationally, I would be rocking the Maxx's already.

I like your dilemma. I dig both of the tires in question. Good Luck

I also can't figure out why nobody will make a 265/75R17. It would be a great mid-point between 32 and 33".

Hey, Ag question. Is the open county Ats louder than the Dueler At. I have the Duelers and love the
Tires. The open countries look awesome but was wondering about noise.

Revo2 or RHS? The Toyo would not be any louder than either. Probably a little quieter than the RHS, and even that would be negligible.

I didn't notice a loss in power or braking distance, and surprising the ride quality isn't harsh either.
