Those uca's were a f'ing b@&ch! They were wider than the gussets I welded in even with the washer and sleeves. Beat the gussets back a little and sinched down the bolt. Fits snug but moves. Is that ok? Also I can't fit a washer on the gusset side. Thoughts?

Edit: gusset plate acts as the washer. Don't tighten until the truck is on the ground. It's ok the uca's are stiff. Ah, im a rookie. We're both gonna know all about this stuff.

    Thx

    Thanks bud and welcome.

For the TC UCA the gusset side didn't take washers. Now for the Solo kit I have clue. The UCA do fit tight. It's not a big deal. But the TC gussets are designed for the Tc UCA too. All it takes 1/8 wider for it to kick your ass. Hopefully you got them all in.

My arms are also very tight in the gussets. The arms spread a little when I pull them out, so when I put them back in I put them crooked, then "slide" them into position and it squeezes the arms together. No washers on the gusset side, washers fit tight in the middle against the shock tower

Everything to get running. Brakes, fluid changes, remote resi mounting, bolt on exhaust. Just a bunch of little things. By myself it will take time but with a few extra hands we could get it done quick. I just want to get it running and see how the motor does. I'm dropping the transmission pan now and fixing the leak.

Ray, I recall you said you got some hardware from Jims. I was wondering if you have a tap and die set? If not may I suggest it for anything that may be previously used
