    Better both.

I can't recall now if the J-pipe is there on the side or if it's a straight pipe,
it has me curious now so I've have to have another look over the weekend. Anyone know?

I found the 4 inch deck plate on Amazon but it doesnt come with any screws. A trip to the hardware store will be needed.

I didn't bother with the plate, just cut a big hole and there it is! :D

I don't off-road and any rain that came in via the front end wouldn't hit it as it's off
to the side in the corner. I've checked it after driving in some major down pours
all the way home and it was dry as a bone in there every time.

Awsome, I wonder if it would be even better with a drop in K&N filter.

I'm only interested in the deck plate to make it look semi factory in case I ever sell the truck in the future.

I don't plan on getting rid of this one, I just roto-zipped that bad boy
a big mouth in the front. :D The dry ones don't seem to make much of a
difference, the oiled ones claim to be much better but I'm not putting anything
in there I have to oil, I just don't want to take the chance of the oil getting
    sucked in.

I don't and it's raining again out there or I'd go take one for you. If you pop the hood, I think
the washer fluid fill is right there at the front of the box, I just cut a big hole in it under the
ridge, maybe an inch from the bottom, 6" wide and about 2" high - like a big mouth :D

Everything is when it first hits the market. The over priced stock JBL LOL, now that
would of been a waste of money!

I've had them on many trucks, always loved the sound and the response they produce
and all that without needing a tune.

In case you're interested, still no CAI from what I've seen but looks like Flowmaster has a cat back out for the 2016 now if you're interested.

You may have to change the year to 2016 but It shows up on mine.

Yeah it's duals. I'd love to hear one on the 3.5 versus the 4.0 myself, but I'm more interested in a single outlet to keep the factory look. May suck it up and go for it anyway if I don't see anything else later on by Summer.

Got to keep things looking symmetrical when you start messing things up.

hah right. It'll be a few months before I start spending that money. Got to recoup from the down payment. Let me know when you get that dry filter. I'd like to see some pics and see if the butt dyno notices anything different.

Will do for sure, remind me if I forget to post it up for you.

I'm with you on the exhaust though, I'd go single exhaust and it would most likely be
a magna-flow, really like their sound and have had them on a few trucks(v8's).

    Fender baffles? Charcoal filter?

I know right. That's stupid crazy pricing. Hell I think the price of the Flowmaster is steep but at least it is cheaper.

I love the noise, but the can get the noise and keep the cold air (and a decent amound of cash in your wallet) by simply upgrading the intake tube. Try looking up airaid modular intake tube. I had one of my 99. It is your best option in combanation with the stock air box and maybe a high flow drop in filter
