New bed lights. Suggestions on hood scoop.

i got a sport hood bro, i already have one.

 

^ They're ok but I don't like the Black Housing that covers the light. $40 is kind overpriced for something that doesn't look that great. Thats just my opinion. If you like them, keep them. However I will not allow you to keep the Scoop.

If you keep the Scoop, I will drive to your home and hurt you.

No! 40 for the hood scoop. The lights are $20. And the black squares can be cut out. Thats what I was thinking of doing.

yea the bed lights lights look good... but deff negative on the hood scoop... i like the idea of the fenders painted black... "rugged trail look" i kinda wanted that too but not sure yet...

 

I say do it. Im thinking the spray on bedliner that we used on the bed bars. you think if we put like 5 coats per fender we would be good?

 

i sure as hell hope so... but 5 coats of just paint right or are u gonna put primer as well??... the fendors just pop off too right..?? i like it cuz it also shows the black wheels more ya know...

 

Yea they pop off. I might sand them, them a few coats of primer. 2 or 3. Then the bedliner. We should knock it out one day.

^ You guys are Gangster to paint some nice color matched Flares. Why not trade someone local for Black Ones and $$$. So at least you get a few bucks out of it or help a local.

If I were you. I'd do what TRICOMA did. Vinyl those Flares Up. If you have a change of heart, tear them right off and presto! You got color matched Flares again..

I know about the antanae. Just so far from me. And I want the bedliner because it will be more durable and scratch resistant. Plus I love to paint!

 

to be honest im down ... cuz i was thinking about going to get bushwackers... but the look more like a Jeep IMO... Or like Tri was saying they look like Frontier fenders... and this way we wouldnt have to spend and arm and a leg on new fenders...

 

^ Well, you guys know that the Black Paint will be really Durable. I'd say start early and prep them really nice. So the paint will hold really well. Let them dry all day to get them to be durable.

x2. But do you think rhino lined is better. Im having trouble deciding. I dont want the rhino to look dull.

 

I say put the scoop on the roof like some sort of indycar inspired rice rocket!

 

i would say the rhino but i would have to kinda look at it.... im not to sure yet... cuz the rugged trail tacoma's are more of a dull look... correct me if im wrong..??
