Big Bear doesn't get as much snow as Colorado. I used to live in SoCal, trust me not as bad. Wolfe Creek is already at 21 feet of snow this year and it's only January.

Hopefully you can snag some parts off of him if need be. The valves should clean up fine unless they are bent. I always take em to the wire wheel and clean em up. Same with rusty/dirty bolts.

Amount of snow doesn't make it any less icy. My part of big bear is particularly icy

They're probably bent. Oil was coming out of the exhaust :(

Firebird or subaru in the snow" :p

    :boink:

    Almost 23 feet now.

Well the curbs disappeared here because the snow/ice combination is that deep now.

I used to have a Subie. Awesome little car. And I'd own one again if I was in a situation where I needed a good commuter and could afford to maintain two vehicles (would still keep a Toy around for exploring). Folks around here get a little carried away with how they drive though. AWD does not make you invincible.

Oh Firebird definitely. That thing kicked ass surprisingly.

It never disappoints me. Firebird FTW!

4x4 and a locker do make you invincible.

They are green, the invincible Subaru right?

Lockers are terrible in the snow.. Some slip is good.

We have had a "warming" lately only -10 last night!

and ground clearance. an incident with a large rock left a golf ball sized dent in the tranny....bought my 1st gen shortly thereafter as i realized my Subie was not up to the task of roaming the mountains.

There is an older Legacy with SAS and 33's running around though...laugh every time I see it...

:( Damn, that sucks!! I know you can get valves for the 3.0 on rockauto, if you can't get them from that other truck.

more multi colored around here - gotta have that one mis matched body panel, at least 6 college kids crammed inside and a roof rack full of skis. unless you meant green as in :rasta: that could apply too.
