    it's basing its price on what it estimates the traffic to be (which it's off by), the site's google pagerank and the number of backlinks to the site.

    sites generally sell for 2x or 3x their 6-month or 12-month revenue...that's the way people who actually buy and sell sites do their valuations. i've had offers but hadn't accepted before
