soak golden raisins in gin for a couple of weeks then eat about nine a day. The theory is this: gin is made from juniper berry and they have a healing quality to them as do raisins. Mix the two together and you have healing.

Is there a study that said 9 provides the maximum relief? :notsure:

Yeah, I laugh when I see medical reports when evaluating injury claims and the claimant told the physician he or she had pain of 10/10. Sometimes the damages on the vehicles are minor scrapes and scratches. I tell their attorneys that it just shows me they are faking because 10/10 is giving birth to a 11 pound baby naturally without even an aspirin like my ex did with our daughter. Hell, I had a hole drilled into my jawbone to relieve pressure from an abscess without even a local anesthetic and that wasn't even 10/10 pain. But it was damn f'n close.

Men have to shave their faces every damn day, have to get through 12 years of public schools even though girls are on our minds constantly for 10 of those years, and we die younger. But I thank God every day I never had to go through childbirth.

They had already delivered 5 or 6 babies that day and don't think they wanted to do another - not that mother nature gave me a choice!!! Contractions were 3 minutes apart (from when I started timing them 10 min, 3 min, 7 min, then 3 minutes )

    wimp!!!

If they had sent me home, we would not have made it back.... Had dropped Chris at the baby sitter and we lived 10 miles away.

Have 'em pull out a surgical catheter after it's been in place for about a week. (About 3 times the diameter of a regular catheter) The nurse yanked it out like she was pulling a rope starter on a lawn mower. You'll hear women saying they'd like to have another baby.....You'll never hear anyone saying they want another catherer pulled out.....

I have no personal experience but have been hit too close to home to understand both of these statements. My son has been doing self catheter for 6 months now, the static one only lasted a few weeks and didn't work well. The diameter is measured in some French measurement which even the urologist didn't really understand and the last one was female, she kind of cringed when she was explaining it. Last 2 months he has the bladder spasms and is on some opiate suppositories to try and help with the pain. When he tries to explain it to me my butt just puckers up and I sit about 6 inches higher in the seat of the truck and I want to say please just shut up, but it seems to make him feel better to talk to me about it. Yikes!

I need another cortisone shot in my foot so I can walk without pain, hard to rank it I'm a guy so tears could be streaming down my cheeks when I'm running the dogs hunting but it is only a 4/10 watching the dogs work and run. Walking across the parking lot to the grocery store tonight would have put it at a 9/10. Thank goodness I never had to give birth to another human or go through some of these other issues!

Took a week to pass the last kidney stone. But that was a week of Vicodin, dulled the pain, don't know if it was a 10 on the pain scale, but if not, I don't want to find out what is.
