IT'S CONFIRMED: Jeep Wrangler Pickup Truck Coming in 2017

Id very much would like to see how they are priced and if they change the engine

 

My dad used this jeep back in the 70's for a service truck.

 

I kinda like the look of this.

 

I like the look of the wrangler; however, I think it looks hideous as a truck. Now if they made a truck based of the Cherokee it would probably look better. If they did it off Cherokee though it would probably just look like a Ram and then why not just buy a Ram.

 

Probably take a wrangler unlimited and add about $5k....f that
I'd guess around $40k for Chrysler reliability, and death wobble

 

After the last one, I will never, ever own another Jeep. Worst pieces of shit on the road.

 

I keep wanting a wrangler, reading reviews keeps me saving for a new taco...

 

It's still a Jeep though :/

Sorry you've had bad luck or that you're just going off what other people say. I've enjoyed my Jeep and the other 5 my family currently has.

 

That's the most badass thing I've seen all month.
Second, I have a history with jeeps, that's all I had before my Tacoma. That being said I switched for a reason. Jeep's best years are behind them. They some good quality vehicles for a while. I would venture to say some of the most capable off road vehicles. The tight wheel base gives an advantage that can't be had in a pickup truck.
I think the old trucks are cool. I like the style. But it's all just my opinion. I don't think jeep ever made the best vehicle and they surely never will in years to come.
I will forever stand by the off-road capabilities of the older models and the reliability of the legendary 4.0 motor.
All in all I love my Tacoma and that's why I bought it!

 

Don't be afraid of the TJ model(97-06). Good run of wranglers. They'll run over 200k without the bat of an eye, with proper maintainence. But I would never buy a new mkdel(JK). If I won the power ball tonight id buy a wrangler tomorrow for an off-road rig and my Tacoma would be strictly pavement.

 

The Jeep quality issues concern the street-riding DDs because the off-road crowd are tinkering, grease monkeys anyway. I would never own a Jeep for everyday purposes, but some of their 4x4s are straight legit. Their suspect quality is a tradeoff some are willing to deal with. I'd eyeball a Jeep truck if/when I'm in the market, but I doubt it would go much farther than that.

 

High Country 4X4 is here in Boone and they do work for the people who spend the money to look like they 4x4. I worked at the Dodge dealership here for a while and the mechanic who did the 6.4 hemi swaps showed me the shoddy work they put it to 50-180k Jeep conversions

 

I don't understand, you spend buttloads of money for a wrangler, decide you also want a bed on it, and decide you want it to have a v8, why not avoid all the headaches and just buy a full size v8 pick up?
