    Welp, the idiots at the dealership really got me good this time. When I got my truck I got free lifetime oil changes. Jodi took the truck in today for its oil change and on the way home, at highway speed, the oil light came on and the truck died. Yup, oil plug was missing, they didn't tighten it. AAA towed it home, Toyota towed it back to their dealership, and I am currently without a vehicle to drive. Waiting to hear what damage has been done. :facepalm:

    I can't wait to hear what they have to say. I may have a fight on my hands here. Jodi said the oil light came on, and then the truck just quit. No noise, just stopped running. When the Triple A guy shoed up, he looked under the truck and said the plug was missing. It definitely had oil in it when it left the dealership, it sat in my driveway for a couple of hours and there is a pretty good sized oil spot out there. Happy 2016!

    If you are "lucky" they add some oil to it and it fires back up no issues. If you are unlucky like me... It doesn't fire back up and you have low compression on all 6 cylinders and the block is probably toast. The shitty thing is that if it does fire back up and run fine, then they are just going to hand you your truck back and say it's good to go; but down the road you will probably have issues from the little bit of damage that likely occurred.

    Hi Brady, I called them today when I got home. I kept very calm, but I told them if they tried to tell me the engine was OK, there was going to be a problem. I was talking to the service manager at the time and he said he understood. I told them that we are a two car family and need a second car right away. The are delivering something for us tonight. He also told me the tech:rofl:that did work is no longer employed there. A while later they called back and said the engine is running, but there is definitely something not right with the way it sounds. Their "Master Tech" is going to look at it and listen to it tomorrow. I told them I wanted a completely whole, completely worry free truck. I'll keep you guys posted.
