Meh...honestly when it comes to something as simple as an UCA, cromo is cromo and a unibal is a uniball so I wouldn't hate on it at all...

I've got no qualms with TC, and in fact, I'll most likely be purchasing a set of their arms in the near future. My post in no way was meant to put down TC, and I can very much appreciate a company that takes pride in their craftsmanship and customer service. At the same time I was also in no way supporting Pro Comp. Besides a $30 set of spindle gussets, I've had no dealings with either.

I think my main point was somewhat misconstrued in that all I was hoping for was an honest comparison of the products, and not for my own sake so much as to point out how some products are defended, recommended, or condemned. Stating how they run their company and past product history also in no way effects the quality of the arms. Yes their lifts have historically been for looks and not performance, but that does not effect this specific product. Also, some people might put up with poor customer service for a cheaper price.

    Does that make more sense?

In regards to the copy of arms arguments, I have to ask how many ways can one possibly make a uniball arm? To simply make them work they all will look nearly identical, no? How much castor is effected is another point entirely, and yes, ProComp should advert those figures.

Anyways, I digress. I was merely pushing for fair consideration, or reviews, of products on their own merits or lack thereof.

I am looking into the total chaos upper and lower control arms. Will these give me better ground clearance? More "droop"? I'm running a drop bracket and wanna get that bastard of a diff plate up higher. Will control arms do this? Should I get stock length if so?

control arms will not do anything to get your front diff up any higher. with uniball uppers and lowers and the correct shocks you can gain a inch - ish of travel

Understood and I appreciate the well thought out response. I'm not going to push the topic any more.

Like I stated in my post above I'm VERY well versed in ProComp lifts. I have some links for you and I'll PM you later with them. I hope it will help you out.

Another man that is very knowledgeable with DB lifts right here. Definitely no stranger to dumping a shit ton of money either.

Great idea for a new thread, and thank you.

In other news, its time for limit straps, at least it's fucking cold out now for laying under the truck welding...
