    A few.
On the bright side you didn't get hurt, and kept it rubber side down. All it cost was some time and embarrassment. I grew up in these mountains and they have taught me some good lessons over the years. I'd venture to say anyone who has spent much time exploring them has learned a thing or two the hard way also. Use the experience as a learning experience, and prepare a little different next time, and your golden!

Expecting them soon. Not much going on at the moment. Probably unnecessary but it made me feel better sitting in the truck with the jack thurr

I should be measuring droop right now, so I can see how much I gain with the shackle flip, but it's too damned cold.

So so very true. And that's what I keep telling myself. Trying to smile through it and stay entertained.

    Luv ya Phil! :D
Actually, that day was a really good example of an easy trail that I've run several times without issue.
But THAT time I somehow managed to bend my spindle and I would have been really screwed if I hadn't had the foresight to bring along a top notch mechanic and a photographer with a really great set of tools.

Heck yeah! An excuse to go wheeling and help someone. Done! If my truck had any wheeling equipment and I didn't just move to pueblo I'd go too.
