    It's not covered under the warranty but insurance seems to cover it. I removed the engine cover and can see droppings. It's likely this will all be covered under my deductible. All for 3 wires chewed.

    Toyota won't even inspect to confirm a rodent chewing unless i agree to pay the price if it's confirmed to be a rodent incident.

    I'm reading that because the ECU can't detect the knock sensor, the ECU goes into safe mode which lowers my MPG and I'll have a significant engine power loss. I can already feel the power loss.
