The @Mobtown Offroad hi rise bars are a great option. They're a little more money, but have a higher weight rating.

If I were shopping for something like this, I would pick either product depending on how much abuse I was going to put them through.

Can a Hi Lift jack be mounted to your bars as well? Like on the side mounts like Chad's?

Sort of. You can use the two holes here in this pic but then you block the thumb screw for bar removal. We, personally, thought it was a better option to hang from the underside of the bar over the bed. I have all thumbs on my hands and know I would go to remove from the side, slip and destroy the bed side of my truck. They have some heft to them.

Theres some logic many of us (myself included) would have thought of AFTER we destroyed the side of our trucks

Hey Joe! I love your work on these. I don't know if you've already covered this or not but any chance you will have something similar available for Thule or Yakima tracks on top of a truck shell? Changes would need to be to the footing that attaches to the track itself and then just length right?

Anyway, just wondering. I'd be interested.

I'm sorry Joe. I meant to direct that question to Chad @KB Voodoo but I would like to see more work from the both of you. I will check out your thread as well to see what options there are.

Stronger, shipping now, and the first 10 people to buy them, and they are the cheaper option. I believe there were 6 of the cheaper sets availble last I checked.
