I installed this setup a few weeks back and have been really pleased with the product so far. Initially, I wasn't sure about quality etc. but I really liked the front camera on the mirror assembly feature and figured it was cheap enough to give it a shot. It records live front and rear video, and also has a quick picture button to snap a still shot. Video and pic quality is decent enough where you can clearly read license plate numbers. Im still tweaking the parking sensor record feature but like that a lot so far too.

Mirror uses rubber straps that fasten around the OEM mirror. Its a little bigger than my 2005 OEM mirror so the old one is not visible. From the outside of the vehicle, its not too noticeable that it's a mirror over a mirror...but the bronze camera lens standout. The rear camera is a typical mount under the stock bumper. Im worried that the rear camera may eventually exhibit condensation damage from water spray living in WA, but it won't be difficult to replace it with a license plate mounted camera.

I realize this is an older post but I was just trying to mount an AutoVox T1400U and my kit does not include any adhesive. It does include what looks like the solid metal mounting block that attaches to the windshield (circled in red) but no mounting adhesive. Is this readily available at a parts store?

So I went with installing the metal block to the windshield. Everything seemed to work out fine.

The power for this mirror is designed to be supplied through a 4-pin adapter that plugs into the lighter.

Since there is already 12v power directly above the mirror (map light), do you think I could just splice this connector into that source? That would look a lot cleaner.
