Just a word of caution.. I too have the bed mat and love it. Stays in the bed 99% of the time. HOWEVER, that 1% of the time I need to move a heavy appliance, firewood, yard waste, mulch, etc. I am glad I can remove the bed mat easily as it makes sliding things around and sweeping out the bed easier. I almost secured mine the same way and then I had to go pick up a CY of mulch. Glad I was able to just push the mulch out.

I cut holes in mine for new tie down rings, and when I got mulch for my yard I left it in, and ran tie down straps through the holes and used tha mat to pull the mulch out from the back. I though about adding some kind of re enforced holes to do this again with out risking tearing.

Please do, looks like a nice design.

Wonderful. I am thinking of creative things to stick in those receivers. Maybe just 20-foot long steel tubes with signs at the end that say "HANG UP AND DRIVE!"
