    Hey fellas,

I'm currently in a dilemma. I just ordered some TRD Beadlocks that come on the Pro's and Baja's and was planning to put my current 285/75/16 tires on them.

The more I think of it perhaps I should go back down to 265/75/16's (looking at the BFG TA KO2's).
I think that size would fit the TRD wheels better and also prevent my chances of rubbing when I go on trails. However, I don't currently rub with my 285's while just driving on the street, I've got a 3" lift.

    What do you think?
Would the 265's look to small with the 3' lift?

My current 285 BFG Rugged Terrain tires are pretty much brand new and I wouldn't need my old wheels either. So I would like to sell them if I do end up going back to 265's on the TRD Beads.
Discount is only offering me a credit of $180 for my current wheel tire package lol.

Good luck selling those Ragged Terrains. Discount is only offering that much because no one in their right mind would buy those shitty tires, especially in that size. better take their offer or go out and roast them til there ain't nothing left. Sucks when we buy stuff that turns out to be a waste of money, sorry

I would just swap them over to the new rims and wear them out then make the decision. Drive it on the trails and see how much rubbing you really have. Then buy the size & brand you want to stay with.......or just swap shipping addresses on the rims and let me do the research for ya.

Does he want a side view meaning the side line of the truck to see how or if they stick out?

    top: 285's

    bottom: 265's

*i'd stick with 285's. they look more well proportioned with a 3 inch lift.

    A few things
265/75/16 st maxx on a 3" lift. I think it looks proportional, and don't have to deal with rubbing issues. The extra 1/2"-3/4" of ground clearance from 285's does not seems worth all the extra work to clear them.
