Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean to imply that this would be a wheeling adventure, just some forest road driving on a nice day (hopefully) with an open shooting pit at the end of the road. This is the shooting area: https://goo.gl/maps/hJbJfWDExnT2

However, you can keep going up and there are a few other places you can set up some targets, though that one is probably the safest from a "no hikers" perspective.

I know it's not for everyone, especially if you're looking for some more serious offroading, but thought I'd ask. I'm biased since I live nearby I didn't have a specific date in mind, but maybe next weekend (23rd or 24th)?

 

Well put me down for tentative. It's pretty much my back yard also. I didn't kill anything this year so I'm down to go send some rounds down range.

The point is if someone is running late, the cb channel is known in advance and radio...... nvm... there are these things called phones...

I don't leave the meeting spot until we have everyone that's going. Or if someone is going but is an hour late then I post the CB channel on here

 

I got my CB mounted. Couldn't mount it to the side of the center console...1st Gen issues!
I should have the antenna and bracket tomorrow, just in time!

Ashtray upper mount is the key.

Anyone interested in a set (4) of Yakima bed rock clamps with bars (2)? I'll even toss in the ski/snowboard rack and I've got a few other odds and ends for Yakima systems. I bought them to use my RTT with. I'm going to go with the relentless 8" rise bars instead. Looking to get $200 for the whole shabang. That's what the bed rock clamps cost alone with no bars or extras.

The bars and clamps sit about 3-4" above bed height.

 

@GSPRunner what was the place you took your lady to last month or two ago? Cabins on Bainbridge or somewhere like that. I'm interested in going there. Feedback?
