ive been fighting back and forth with 35s, 315/70 or a 305/70. I cant decide. Im afraid 35s will be way too big. But my 32s look too small now. May go with a 305/70 to get best of both worlds.

I'm still on the fence as well. Leaning towarfs 295/75/16 in KO2s, or just go full 315 in either KO2 or ST MAXX. But also thinking 285/75/16 until I can regear, which could be a while until I can afford to do it with lockers.

I have the benefit of Avid 2 miles south of my house and Brandon always will let me use the lift. I also have a few friends that let me use their driveway. My next house will be way different and maybe not in this state. I'm still dreaming of moving to Denver.

im just so nervous with 315/70/17 ill lose my up travel and also be too stuffed. I might have to "settle" and go with the 305/70/17 but the brand selection blows. But they have Toyo AT2s in that size.

Terra Grappler and AT2's is pretty much it in 305's. Its a good size for our 4Runner's though.

I've got 35's and I rubbed on the rear shock bodies with 4.5" BS but now with be 3.5" F5's I have plenty of room.

A few pics from my build thread.

Here is right before the driver rear comes off the ground. The shock still has about 2" before bottoming out. The front passenger tire is off the ground too. This is with the NV's and 1" spacer.

I hope not! I've been meaning to do it again and take measurements.

The fronts though, that's a never ending story.

May be out of my league in this, but is it worth explaining the difference between uniball and ball joint UCA's and respective advantages/disadvantages to each?

The 4R has a much worse clearance issue in the rear than the taco, without chopping into the door or pushing the axle way back, then trimming the bumper and body in the wheel well (which is what I did), limiting up travel is really the only option. a 295 or 305 fits really well, been very happy with my Hankook 295/75-16.

yeah the rear is evil for trying to fit any size in there. my 285/70s now fit well and i had to smash my pinch weld and CMC. Which is no big deal. The rear im extending the bumps down to help so it wont completely destroy the wheel well. Ill probably end up with 305/70s

Like stated in the OP using the search function on TW can get you lots of info. I personally like using Google because it will find not only TW threads but other good forums.
