Howard Stern Fans?

Exactly... in his tribute to Riley he mentioned how much he NEEDS the whack pack and how much content they provide for the show, but at the same time laughs at them for thinking they should at least get some gas money or parking to get down to the studio. Love the guy but he definitely does not treat his employees well and wants all the marbles for him self.

 

I have always felt like that was his on air personality. Howard has a unique way of acting like he's making fun of "the retard"to appeal to the jock DB type who would do that as an adult, yet still helping them get a little extra in life. That they wouldn't have normally. Let's be honest. What does the wack pack actually do, besides make an appearance here and there. And a few phone calls. Do they really deserve money? But with being sort of "famous" they can bank off of that a little. I feel like he's crazy loyal to his people. And would and has fought for them to be included in the money. Just what I take from it anyway.

 

LOL. I just called the wrap up show to talk about the Portuguese guy singing David Bowie acoustically, that Howard didn't like, and got on the air!

 

Sweet. Still finishing yesterdays show but I'll probably listen to todays show and wrap up tomorrow. What should i look out for, "Nuno from CT" ?

 

Yep!! Sucky part was, they hung up on me and didn't let me answer Gary's comment after my last one. Understandable though. I'm sure they have a shitload of calls and want to get to as many as possible, nor do they want to get into a "pissing contest" on the phone over people's opinions.

 

Damn, I don't know if I'll get to todays show but congrats.

Gary never let's people reply to him by phone, and on the show he constantly talks over anyone that disagrees with him. Even Howard.

 

True. But I'm sure the main reason is because they have a ton of calls they want to try and get to, and not get into arguments on the show. All good though. Was more upset about Howard not liking my fellow Portuguese guy, but to each it's own and no hard feelings.

I am not a Kartrasheon fan in the least. She is "looking" after Lamar?? WHY?? When you start making excuses for an addict and saying it really isn't his fault you need therapy.....a kick in the ass and then therapy. The guy is coked up in a whorehouse for three days and it isn't his fault??? She makes my skin crawl. She hates what the NBA does to guys but she is with another one now....idiot. Only thing worse would have been if Howard let Benji talk....Hate that moron too....LOL


Now as for Howard. I have been a fan since the early 90s when he was on E late at night. Sirius subscriber since 06....devout listener since then.

 

She might be helping him out of pity, or maybe she felt obligated to do it since technically they are still married and going through a divorce. Who knows! And Benji is something else. That guy has some major issues I think.

 

I used to work night turn years ago. I'd take my lunch break at 2 am every night. Just so I could watch Howard on E. Everyone I worked with knew if it was my lunch break, Howard was on and don't touch that fucking remote! LOL.

 

Like I said a few pages back, I'm pretty sure at some point Benji could try to take the Artie way out.

 

Artie and stuttering John were taking shots at Howard a few weeks ago about how he had mellowed..... Funny how a 62 year old man will do that. Sheesh. I liked Artie but he and Mendez owe whatever career they have left to him.

Holy shit, that movie was bad. I was upset at Ralph Macchio for doing it! Come on man, you were the original (and only in my mind ) Karate Kid!

 

Honestly though I liked Dirty Work and think it should of done better than it did. Compared to other period comedies it was good. I think Artie was right that the R rating killed that movie rather than it's content.
