Well some of you might shun me for saying this but I think I'm gonna get me a jeep xj in April to start wheeling with. Brittany and I were talking about the truck and how it's gonna be important to have as a DD for out future baby so I'm gonna invest in a trail rig. Jeep XJs are cheap and easy to build up and old enough for me not to care if I damage it on the trails.

I want to get a 97-01 with dana 30, Chrysler 8.25. Get a RC 4.5 lift, some cheap black steelies, some cheap 33x12.5r15s, throw a lunchbox locker in the rear and run that for awhile. Build my own armor. The parts and accessories for these vehicles are dirt cheap.

I'd recommend iron rock offroad, get a long arm kit from them, and a aussie locker.. you could easily run 35s on 4.5 lift
