Alright guys, I've got a new idea. Tell me what you think.

I am now liking the looks of Black Rock 942B in 17x8 or 17x9. I can't decide which size....

    http://www.blackrockwheels.com/products16-8/BlackRockTypeDSeries942

The 17x8 has 4.5" BS, 0 offset, and weigh 38lbs each

The 17x9 has 4.5" BS, -12mm offset, and weigh 40lbs each.

Now, I am wanting to go with these: (265/70/17 BFG T/A KO)

    http://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/361459668002

These tires are about 31.8" tall. Will the 17x8 wheels be sufficient for just minimal rubbing at full turns with these beefy tires or do I need to go with 17x9 with the slightly negative offset?

Also, is this added weight going to decrease my mileage noticeably?

Any input guys? I've got to start bidding within the next 19 hours. I don't want to blow away money when I know someone out there has done this before

So I bought 17x9" vision soft 8 wheels with -12mm offset along with 265/70/17 BFG t/a KO's and they rub like a mother where the mudflaps are on the front 2 wheels.

Don't want to part with them.. guess I'll have to.

I'm also noticing a huge hit on my mpg.... At least 3mpg drop.

Not really enjoying it. I may sell this setup.

    Sure does look good though.

oh, make sure you account for the difference in diameter too. add about 3.3% to your mileage (ex 200 x 1.033 = 206.6). It's not a lot but you'd be down about only 1-2 mpg
