After last night I figured out my LED game is weak. Poor old incandescent headlights are not up to the game. I think I'll start with a 95-97 grill swap with a "sealed beam style" HID headlight. I know Hella makes some really nice lenses for the European market that are not DOT, then pick up some HID bulbs and ballasts like @CoTacoTRD runs. Also some simple rock lights and under the bed rail lights.

    Then, the EAF sicker :anonymous:

omg, Larimer County has shut down North and South travel on all the major streets that have a field next to them :rofl:blowing snow is causing some awesome drifting. Shields and Taft and Overland Trail are a mess.

I had to detour twice coming back from Loveland, cars off the road everywhere, one was rolled. Total mayhem.

    hahahaha...no. :D

Not so much that, it's been windier. It's just all the loose snow blowing across the roads from the fields causing thick drifts. Little cars hit that shit and get airborne. It's clear in town, so I guess most aren't expecting it.

When I was in high school, many decades ago, I had a friend who had a Buick stacked on a 1 ton Ford. He called it Buford. It was classy.

Hey anyone ever lead an off-roading 101 trip on some beginner/intermediate trails? The only time I am off-roading is going camping, never really done anything too serious, as I dont have all the equipment yet (no winch, bumpers, etc)... Hoping to get front/back bumper mods and a winch before this spring/summer to be ready to go this summer. When the snow is gone i would love to hit up some trails and learn the basics of using my winch and other general driving techniques to keep me and my truck safe out there on the trails when I start doing more aggressive off roading.

Also side question: I have 265/75/16 duratracs with 16" pro comp 7032 wheels...if I get a spare of this combo, will that fit in the stock spare spot under my truck bed on a 2014 TRD off road?

Thanks guys, huge fan of TW, and want to become more connected to the Tacoma/off-road community here in the front range/ Colorado. I live in the Boulder/Louisville area.

    My build:

    265/75r16 Duratracs
3" Adjustable Bilstein suspension lift w/ add a leaf in rear
    16" pro comp 7032 wheels
    Leer Cap
    Weather Tech floor mats
    Thule racks

    Thanks yall!

Ya your spare will fit. For a while I had my 285/75 R16 under the bed. Granted I had beet the brackets into the rails to fit it.

Does beeting the brackets involve the vegetable? I'm confused how a beet got involved. Or did you beat them?
