Alarm went off. Go outside and find 2 broken windows. Nothing taken. Both front window moldings are ruined from prying. Scratch on drivers door.

Don't know where to go from here. Took it to the shop. I'll drive my other car and hope the are parts available and insurance handles it.

That's it. You can see where I park from 3 busy streets. And the area is well lit. And it's in city center

guessing the alarm doesn't have a shock sensor since they smashed two windows?

Good thing you drive a real truck, not a Ridgeline, the doors might have just fallen right off from an impact like that.

Well atleast there is a report for your insurance company. Don't you hate that shit. In my city you read police reports and all the time it says the sheriffs office considers the case close unless new evidence is found. There never is an investigation, and it's always like its the persons fault who had it happened to them. Surprised they didn't say "if you left your doors unlocked they wouldn't of broke your windows." But yet if you did that and reported theft. They would of said "you didn't have your truck locked up" either way it's "your" fault or so it seems...

If be watching out of my window in the future for a while with a shotgun. Let the punks come back

That sucks ... hopefully just the glass will be easy to replace and hopefully scratches are not too hard to fix.

Years ago, I had my camaro STOLEN 3 times in 3 months. I know the feeling.

I really wanted a Trunk Monkey Theft Retrieval System

People suck. And this is just one of many reasons I urge people to carry a low Comprehensive deductible. So many things can happen, out of your control (unlike Collision coverage) that fall under the umbrella of Comp coverage.
