Been a while since I painted. Painted these today for a local fast guy for the Reedy Race of Champions next week.

I'm in a dilemma and only my tacomaworld family can help! I have 400 dollars to burn and I'm debating between relentless fab bed bars (eventually get a RTT and mounting tabs) orrrrrrrrrr a Scx10 Honcho and turning it into a 1:10 scale version of my truck. Thoughts???

Well... if you buy an SCX-10, you're going to go into it for way more than $400... eventually. How do I know? Because you like to mod :) I don't dare count how much I sank into my Wraith, and I still have roughly $800 to put into my SCX-10 before it's ready to roll off of my hobby table. Addictions!

This would be my first RC, is it worth it? More importantly is the scx-10 a good one to start with?

Yeah, top of my buy list is Vanquish RockJock axles, which is already painful but I must have them :) Then wheels and electronics. Luckily I have almost everything else.

It's very capable stock, most of the upgrades people do are because they have the itch. But it also depends on your expectations and on how you plan to run the truck. Scale guys get off on realism, not unrealistic speed or bashing. I love wrenching on my RC as much as I like running them.

Have you ever driven any Axial rig?

No I haven't, I want to get into it and it seemed like the most bang for the buck
