I think my dad already called dibs on the 4Runner and trailer.

 

I should rent the trailer out while I'm gone and make a few bucks with it.

Did you fall and hit your head?? Why the Navy?? You should have joined the Army!! What job are you going to be doing?? Either way....congrats! I just couldn't be away 6-8 month from my 4Runner and women!! Ouch!!

 

Coming from Cali, you're going to love northern Illinois (RTC Great Mistakes) in March, shipmate. At least in my time I had the choice of San Diego, Orlando & Chicago. In retrospect I should have chosen RTC/GL. The damn Palmetto bugs in Orlando look like roaches & are the size of sparrows. Plus, since they see UV light, they are attracted to dress blues as if they are some kind of wildly attractive flower in desperate need of pollination.

 

What rate did you end up picking?

I know the 4Runner is going to be quite lonely. I have a decent job but I feel the need for a career and I feel the navy will be a good tool to learn a skill and get some education. I will be in the aviation field. As of now I'm an aviation apprentice so I'll have to test into a real aviation job in the first 6 months before I test for e4. Oh I'm starting as an e3 so that's good for something.

Any recommendations in the naval aviation field?
