Yesterday i decided to put a muffler on. I had bought it a couple years ago off ebay for my dad's car but he did not want to put it on. So i figured that i should just slap it on my truck redneck style. xD

I took a sawzall and cut the old muffler off. Then i put the new one on and used a clamp to secure it, then i used bailing wire(lmao) to support the pipe and muffler. :D

Surprisingly i think it sounds good! I will take a sound clip tomorrow.

Here are some pics, do any of you think that i will have any problems with corrosion from the exhaust or the fumes leaking into the cab?

haha nice hillbilly setup. I wouldn't want to be sitting in traffic too much with the muffler that close to the cab!

My muffler's sitting about where yours is, but it has about a 5 inch pipe/elbow that spits out the exaust right before the axle. No problems.

I don't think you'd have any cab issues. I'd be more worried about a manifold leak, as that is where your heater/ a/c vents from and pumps air into the cab.

    LOL, thanks
    Haha

Good thinking, time for some turn downs.
    Thanks!

LOL, i guess i'll go add some more wire...

Alright, ill have to clamp/weld some turn downs on the pipe.

I just need to find some turn downs that will fit, should i just go to a muffler shop to buy some?

You can take it to the muffler shop and get it welded on with a turn down? Well if you like the way it sounds that is. Where are those sound clips? :D

Alright did some drivebys tonight. I will hopefully soon have another camera and maybe it will have better sound, not that this cameras sound is bad or anything. Of course it sounds a lot better in person :D

    Enjoy!
