DCLB 4WD manual trans SR trim. I want less crap, not more. I spoke with a Tech Center engineer the other day, and he said a whole rash of electronics are coming in '18, so a '17 will be my last hope.

Remote start and the 3.5 turbo would be nice. I can't complain about much else

In Canada we get a scaled down version of entune. Absolutely useless.

Maybe you have an issue with your gmc or you're doing something wrong, I've had 4 trucks that used the stick on the floor, all model year '92 and newer, never had an issue of using them on the go. Never had a problem and actually liked that feature. I can't imagine a truck that new requiring you to stop to use 4wd

Came here to say just this. They just revised that engine too. It's nothing super powerful, but that thermal efficiency... 44%. Just to have SOME diesel option in the tacoma would be fantastic. Unfortunately, multiple sources at Toyota have already confirmed this will not be an option, ever.

They should add a vibrating dildo that rises out of the driver's seat, available on automatics only. That option would be sure to please the whiny asshats who keep posting about how superior the automatic transmission is and claiming that manual transmissions are outdated and inferior.

It would be kind of cool to see behind you in traffic too, sometimes. I wonder if they could include a feature to record after the alarm is set off? You might be able to see a hit and run in a parking lot or something.

Honestly the seat controls are a HUGE thing here.

I just picked up my new 16 yesterday and my head touches the roof when im sitting straight up. I dont usually sit like that but I'm left with about an inch of clearance.. fml

I am not like most of you on here, I am older, 70, but very active, but I don't want an off road vehicle. I had a 2005 with over 200,000 miles and loved it. I bought the Limited as it was more like what I wanted, my wife and I like to take trips in the truck, not the car. I also live in the south and it is very different living in hot area. I hate black interiors, as they are ovens in the summer, I got the Limited as it was two tone, but it is not what I wanted. I thought I could make it brighter but I can't. I can't buy beige floor mats to lighten it up as no good ones are made as they only sell black or charcoal. I will get a light colored steering wheel cover so I hand touch it during the summer. I wish they had a lighter beige like my 2005. Apart from that, here are a few things I would like to see. I have driven it almost 4,000 miles in 8 weeks. Like many of you some will be the same

    1. power seats
    2. passenger door opener so I don't have to use the fob when I open it for my wife
    3. I do not like Entune or the way the screen is laid out. I have a very nice Genesis and that is so nice but more expensive, The one on the Limited is just ok for me, it could be so much better with just a little more work
    4. The storage unit in the center console sucks. Someone said theirs opened up straight up, mine only opens to 45 degrees and it is worthless, Dealer said too bad that is the way it comes. I used to put CDs in it, but now I just forget it is there.
    5. Limited comes with a step tube, but I am going to take it off, It is too high and not needed, and when you get out, it scrapes on your legs. My wife hates it, so I will take it off and sell it.
    6. garage door opener built in
    7. front sensor and breaking if you get too close
    8. I don't like brake handle on console, anywhere else, I hardly use it where I park.
    9. at least two models and accessories for people who just want a pick up and not an off road. All ads this year are for off road, and they are losing lots of us.
    10. Behind the rear seat, I wish there was a strong lock box, so I could lock up my gun or leave valuables in the truck , but I won't like it is
11.when I start off in the morning, the transmission feels weak and like it isn't fully in gear. I was told that the 6 speed trans. just runs that way. I will wait 2 more months and go back in
    12. I need a 6 foot bed but at the time I bought mine, they didn't offer one.

I really like the way it drives, and handles but I don't know if I had to do it over again, if I would buy it. I loved my 2005 but this one just doesn't do it for me, and I don't like being in the "cave" of darkness. Oh well.
