Finally got around to building a new traction bar for Smokey. Big thanks to @Boomtacoma01, couldn't have pulled it off without your help bud.

Don't mind the splatter, the paint can decided to clump on me.

    Look again!

On another note, does anyone have a suggestion for a small diameter muffler? The stocker doesn't fit now. Brrraaappp

The bottom of the bracket is in line with the bottom of the pumpkin. Just think of it as a slider. :D

The tubes are 1.5" x 0.25 DOM if you were wondering.

    Nice.

So were you having axle wrap issues?

6 inch Douche Bag lift...what else do I need?
I was thinking about getting one of ATO's traction bars but they don't make one for an E-locker apparently. Was thinking about doing the same thing and just fabbing the axle mount. I thought about just fabing a new plate that mounts to the diff. bolts. Not sure if that would work...

Yes, the chevy 63's I have are very prone to wrap. I've twisted one pair into an S-shape.

I had ATO's bar and managed to twist the rear bracket and break a diff stud off. I'd steer clear of anything that mounts to the diff.

Thanks Kase. Now I need to find a spot to flex her out and make sure there isn't any binding in the bar. The heim on the top bar should keep the bushings on the axle from fighting each other, so I should be good. The 3/4" heims from ruffstuff have a ton of movement in them.

Nice! That looks like a solid design. I like the use of the heim for the top bar instead of welding it to that bottom bar.
