Nope. Just truck bed tent. I will eventually consider a soft topper. But I'll wait til I get the next Taco for that.

I had a dogsitter at the campsite for URE, it made my life so much easier. Still trying to confirm whether a friend will watch her so I can be dog free at Gulches in March. #dogmomproblems

even the bed tent would benefit from the insulation. just an idea tossed out, you could cut it in such a way that it could be stored behind rear cab seat or something

I like that idea. I'm hopefully acquiring a bedmat in FL if the dude would check his PM's. I'm all about insulation and comfort.

If Tim or anyone wants a small growler from Conquest Brewery, I need to know by like 930pm so I can get there before they close.

Damn I'd love to roll the popup out Saturday but doubt I could pull it off with the wife on short notice considering she's been out of town with work this week. Probably wouldn't go over well. Maybe next weekend or the next? If y'all wanna do it again.

here's the deal, I think the fee is $25 per site, ( might have gone up on the 1st ) SO, if we show up individually, we pay for one site per 2 vehicles ( excluding camper ) one tent and a camper or 2 tents on each site. you can get a second pass for second vehicle if you show solo, but they won't get past the front gate with out the pass or paying a day use fee. ( day use includes showing up to hang for a bit )

So we meet up and go in together and figure out who to put on the site. Umstead was 2 vehicles 3 tents or something like that,no big deal.

I think umstead is free but I think they're closed till around March. Could always head to one of the more quiet boat slips on Harris and camp/hangout there. If the game warden sees a full tent village he will say something but I've slept in my truck many times out there. There's also buckhorn damn on the cape fear. It's a great place to camp. They'll be some sketchy kids coming down there to smoke whatever they enjoy smoking but never give any trouble. Spent many nights out there and never been bothered. It's at the end of a long dirt road. I can show y'all on a map if you're interested. It's down past fuquay.

    yeah, that will work.

My only problem with Umstead is its proximity to RDU arrival and departure, it's never quiet. Jordan has fly over traffic, but it isn't terrible, though probably more noticeable with little to no tree cover this time of year.
