I think my next rifle is going to be a Browning AB3. Chambered in 3006

I'd like a Tikka T3 in 30.06, but I'm not holding my breath!

Pricy! I haven't had the opportunity to get really into hunting, so I'm not willing to spend that much!

Me likey. Now to find some shoes.

Also, if you plan on getting a rifle for target practice you should look into .223 or .308, traditionally the cheapest centrefire rifle rounds. I adore my .308.

In the dream world where I buy a Tikka I also have a hand loading setup. Probably also an airplane and a yacht, which I would never use because I already have the truck.

I like 3006 for its wide range of bullet weights!

Handloading is the way to go if you're going to be shooting a lot of rounds. When I have a house I'll have a little hand loading station!

Hand loading is also the only way to achieve the tightest groupings. I can't imagine how many rounds you would have to load to make back the investment in the setup, but if accuracy is important hand loading is the only way to achieve the consistency.

Best deal is to make a friend who is already into it.

K after we finish pizza we can drink beer in the parking lot and pass out in tents. No idea how we'll get canoes and hookers unless Duncan tries to drunkenly canoe through the snow to find a burnside hooker...
