I do. Remember it's illegal to have a loaded pistol in your truck in Washington unless you have a Concealed Pistol License (9 RCW 41).

If you don't have a CCP, I think you still have to make sure it's "unloaded", but I don't have the RCWs in front of me right now. Be careful.

My interpretation would be that you can carry concealed and loaded in your vehicle while to and from a lawful outdoor recreational activity or any of the other exemptions in the rcw that I posted. I mean, what's the point of a concealed weapon if its not loaded? Kinda like having a concealed permit, but not one in the chamber.

I'm not a lawyer, but I play one on the internets.

You can never carry concealed or have a loaded concealed weapon in your vehicle without the permit. Just get one, it's only $60.
You can open carry loaded in this state, but it has to be clearly visable.

Did you read the rcw? It's gives exemptions to needing a permit. Or am in the only one that interprets it that way?

    "RCW 9.41.060

Exceptions to restrictions on carrying firearms.

The provisions of RCW 9.41.050 shall not apply to:

    (8) Any person engaging in a lawful outdoor recreational activity such as hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, or horseback riding, only if, considering all of the attendant circumstances, including but not limited to whether the person has a valid hunting or fishing license, it is reasonable to conclude that the person is participating in lawful outdoor activities or is traveling to or from a legitimate outdoor recreation area;"

My cwp application is a bit more drawn out since I am not a citizen. I have to basically take a day off, go to the court house, do all the biometric crap and await approval. Something I don't have the time to do since getting a day off for me is like finding hens teeth.

    Are floor mats a mod?
I have one either in my console or in my tuck spot, but not on me when I wheel cuz always getting in and out of the truck made a wear spot on my seat! Just a 9 but kinda bulky.

I could be wrong of course, but I think that's covered under the open carry law and dosen't cover a need for concealment? It's all under the judgement of an officer or ranger if confronted anyway, but if really want a clear answer, call your local police station and ask.
