Just wondering, is the Quicksand paint a solid or metallic colour?

Thx. I had a feeling it was not metallic, here in Ontario I have yet to see one in person, this color is only available in AC OR, we can't get the DC OR here.

 

Yea it's AC OR only, I have one....in Southern Ontario. I haven't seen anyone else with this colour, lots of black and while and only 1 MGM in an AC which ended up being a buddy of mine who didn't say anything about his new truck.

 

First snow and I'm at home with the kiddo. I could have taken her out, but she's miserable sick.

I haven't seen it yet. I considered doing it to be different than everyone else but after I tinted the windows I liked the black against the quicksand.

 

Hey guys, here's my DCSB SR5 4x2. My first choice was the DCSB TRD OR 4x4 Quicksand but they're a rare find in socal(I found one at a dealer who I'd rather not mention but they had a $5k markup on the TRD's....that's right, $5k! and $1k on the SR5's! They wouldn't budge so I told them to kick rocks and dropped the clutch on my second gen ). I opted for this SR5 instead that I found while checking out a TRD Sport(not quicksand). I will use the savings to mod her up a lot sooner than I would have with a TRD OR. I did the whole Costco purchase and saved a couple of bucks off MSRP. Not too bad considering they're a hot item with them not lasting more than 2-3 on the lot after delivery. Also got the recent college grad discount which'll pay for my wheels

First mods on the list:
1. Remove air dam
2. Tint front windows (Done)
3. Derp grill and emblems
4. Bed mat (Done)
5. OEM Roof Rack(Ordered, need to pick up from dealer)
6. New shoes(stuck between method race NV's or Pro Comp 5034's)

looks great. probably going with the quicksand sport when I buy. I like the nerf bars because the black helps add some contrast that is lacking on the sport.

 

Can't wait to get these mounted tomorrow
