Just moved to Tennessee. Where are the best scenic places to off-road and get a good view out of it? Or best camping spots? Anything relatively close to Nashville? :worthless:

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.

Im in Nashville. There are offroad parks scattered around if you want hard wheeling (usually 1-3 hours of driving from Nash). If you want to do some easy wheeling, just a easy day trip, I can take you to Hickman County, there are some dirt roads with tons of river crossings and such.

Here are some pictures I took on my last trail ride in Hickman with some buddies

Then there is Windrock, which is a little further but well worth the drive if you want to spend a couple of days and camp and wheel. Tons and Tons of trails..

X2 for Windrock (as John described above). I live in Knoxville and Windrock is a stones throw from here. I usually ride my atv when I'm there, however, there are tons of trails there for trucks/jeeps and it's definitely worth making a weekend trip out of it.

Curious, do you have to pay to get in?

Yes, but it's not too expensive for a day or weekend pass. In fact I believe an annual pass is less than $100. You can get a lot of good info on their website. And there are tons of YouTube videos posted showing the trails.
