    Hello all from Hawaii!

I just picked up my 2010 Speedway Blue PreRunner Sport Double Cab last week, and so far I'm loving it! This site helped me make my decision to buy one based on the reviews and wealth of information available about the specs, options and mods available for this great truck.

No mods yet, but I'm planning on changing the rims to FJ TRD anthracite 16" rims, but haven't decided on tires (since my sport came with 17" rims I can't reuse the tires :() running boards (the black ones from the dealer) or sliders (more for protection from car doors in parking lots then anything else) and installing the stereo from my last car (Kenwood DNX-9140). I'd really like to do the Satoshi mod, but due to lack of workspace, skill and time I'll have to find someone who can build it for me.

The FJ rims and Satoshi mod are strictly for looks and to separate it from the sea of Tacoma's here in Hawaii, anyone who has been here can attest to the overwhelming number of them here! The stereo upgrade is mostly for safety and convenience due to the fact that it's against the law in Hawaii to operate a cell phone without a handsfree device.

I'm definitely looking forward to getting started on making this Tacoma mine, and I know I'll be referencing this site ALOT to get the right information and great advice!!:D

Your better off with new tires, th stock ones are crap, everyone will agree. I would say sliders, especially if you are planning on offroading at all. Sounds like your well on your way though. enjoy the truck and congrats :woot:

Can't own pickups here unless you are a business. Seen imported Tundras and Hi-Luxs but no Tacomas.

R&R in 2 weeks, looking at a 2010 Tacoma DC, SR5, TRD Sport to supplement my 02 TRD Tacoma DC and 03 TRD Corolla. Also have an 01 MR2 Spyder
