crossfit is really a hell of a thing, i had done a crossfit/gym jones hybrid for a while and it yielded results that blew my mind.....truly a different level of fitness, strong as an ox and completely functional. As far as pricing goes, i did all my workouts from my own home with super ghetto equipment (most of which i had made)...its a little time consuming but doable if you've got some time. I found it easier than going to the YMCA and trying to knock everything out.....there was a crossfit 'memo' that went around that outlined the easiest ways to get kicked out of a conventional gym....my favorite consisted of scaling rafters, slamming medballs against the walls, chalk & olympic lift screams.

Dude, I feel your pain. I had mine done two years ago in December. I had an anterior labral tear. The recovery sucks, but mine is 100% better now.
